Dad and I went bird watching Saturday. Unfortunately, it was really cold, so all the birds were hiding, so as we started driving back home he stops the car real quick, and there was this BEAUTIFUL bird sittin in a tree. It had blue wings, an orange back, and brown belly with zebra-stripped-like eyes. it was SWEET. We looked through my field guide for like a half an hour, and eventually resorted to the internet. My dad found a really helpful site for identifying birds: http://identify.whatbird.com/mwg/_/0/attrs.aspx. It ended up being an American Kestral! BEAUTIFUL bird. And then we saw a seagull flying, but that wasnt exciting.
